Capturing the moment, opening a new chapter.
PSALTER’s 20th anniversary show was held on September 30th at the China Cultural Center in Paris. Under the theme “Psalms of the Moment“, the event extended the house’s classical heritage, embraced diversity and, through preppy style, opened a new chapter in fashion.
A contrasting mix-and-match approach ran throughout the show, giving classic pieces a new narrative. Signature checked coats, blazers, modern leather jackets, color-contrast knitwear and relaxed daywear were layered with clear oppositions. Codes intersect to create a coherent fusion in which traditional elegance coexists with a modern, independent spirit, revealing the multifaceted character of the silhouettes.
Iconic patterns such as the 20th anniversary badge, stripes and diamonds were reinterpreted for today, affirming both a link to the past and the evolution of the brand’s heritage. Creatively integrated into forms and color, they appear on sleeves, shoulders and the bodice in a deliberately free yet controlled placement, balancing considered elegance with avant-garde energy and adding a playful note to the urban wardrobe.
At the show, traditional Chinese elements from frog fastenings and Mandarin collars to waist embellishments were reimagined through deconstruction techniques to offer a renewed Eastern-inspired aesthetic in a contemporary context. Meticulously crafted badge brooches, versatile ties and accessories inspired by the Chinese knot introduce a playful modernity, evolve into distinctive visual languages and extend personal style while providing the finishing touch to each look.
Beyond an academic blue-and-brown palette, PSALTER drew on the season’s tones of smoky violet, warm red and creamy yellow. Rich yet understated, these hues catch the eye without ostentation. Paired with fabrics that are at times structured and at others light and airy, they break the monotony of autumn-winter shades and deliver an attitude that is both rigorous and vibrant.
Honoring tradition while embracing innovation, the theme “the moment” serves as a temporal anchor, linking PSALTER’s reflection on its past to the opening of future chapters from different angles. A reference point for the academic style since 2005, the house champions self-expression and redefines academic codes. It recomposes silhouettes to suit context within a contemporary aesthetic, where inventive details, refined fabrics and experimental cuts coexist in harmony.

冲突感的混搭手法贯穿本次发布秀，标志性的格纹大衣与西装、摩登感皮革外套、撞色毛衫和休闲日装组合，通过强烈对比的层次叠穿，混合不同风格语言，让传统精英气质与现代独立精神兼容并存，展现女性多面的魅力。
20周年章仔图案、条纹、菱格等标志性符 号焕现当下解读，象征着往昔的联结与传 承，和服装的形态、色彩创意融合，智性 的书卷气与新锐的活力并行，勾勒鲜活个性叙事，为都市职场通勤增添更多逸趣。蓝棕学院色系以外，PSALTER诗篇汲取 当季流行色，热颂红、奶油黄等醇厚活 力色调，与或硬挺有型或柔软轻盈的质 感糅合，醒目又不张扬，传递出严谨又不失生命力的气质。秀场上穿梭的模特们，影射聪敏、时髦且 理性的当代都市女性，既能以精裁西服展 现专业气质，也能通过错位混搭释放个人态度，诠释不被定义的风格新姿 承续经典，亦革新变化。
“此刻”作为时间 锚点，链接着PSALTER诗篇对于过往的凝 望以及未来篇章的开端，在不同维度被重新定义。

| Archiver l’instant, ouvrir un nouveau chapitre. Le défilé du 20ème anniversaire de PSALTER s’est tenu le 30 septembre au Centre Culturel de Chine à Paris. Placé sous le thème « Psaumes du Moment », l’événement prolonge l’héritage classique de la marque, embrasse sa diversité et ouvre, dans un un style preppy, un nouveau chapitre. Une approche de mix-and-match contrastée traverse le défilé, insufflant un récit neuf aux pièces classiques. Manteaux à carreaux signature, blazers, vestes en cuir, maille aux contrastes de couleurs sophistiqués et tenues de jour se superposent avec des oppositions franches. Les codes se croisent pour faire coexister l’élégance traditionnelle et un esprit d’indépendance moderne, révélant le caractère multiple des silhouettes féminines. Les motifs emblématiques, comme le badge du 20ème anniversaire, les rayures et les losanges, sont réinterprétés pour aujourd’hui : ils affirment à la fois le lien au passé et l’évolution de l’héritage. Intégrés de façon créative aux formes et aux couleurs, ils apparaissent sur manches, épaules et buste, dans une disposition libre mais maîtrisée, équilibrant élégance réfléchie et énergie avant-gardiste, et insufflant une note ludique au vestiaire urbain. Au défilé, brandebourgs, cols mandarin et ornements de taille sont revisités par des techniques de déconstruction pour une esthétique orientale renouvelée en contexte contemporain. Broches-badges, cravates polyvalentes et accessoires inspirés du nœud chinois apportent une modernité ludique, deviennent de véritables langages visuels, prolongent le style personnel et signent la touche finale des silhouettes. Au-delà de la palette académique bleu et brun, PSALTER puise dans le violet fumé, le rouge chaleureux et le jaune crème. Riches mais discrètes, ces tonalités, associées à des matières tantôt structurées tantôt légères, rompent la monotonie des teintes d’automne-hiver et composent une allure à la fois rigoureuse et vibrante. En honorant la tradition tout en embrassant l’innovation, le thème « le moment » sert d’ancrage entre passé et chapitres à venir. Référence du style académique depuis 2005, la maison revendique l’expression de soi et redéfinit les codes.
